Co-CEO of Binance. He took over as chief executive in November 2023 after Changpeng Zhao stepped down, and has shared the role with Yi He since December 2025, with his remit centred on regulators, licensing and the institutional business. Before Binance he was a regulator at the Monetary Authority of Singapore and led the financial services regulator at Abu Dhabi Global Market, one of the first to write rules for crypto. At Binance he previously ran regional markets outside the US.
