02About.
Amazon Web Services is the cloud unit of Amazon. For blockchain teams it has two relevant offers. The first is Amazon Managed Blockchain, which provides Ethereum, Bitcoin and Polygon node access, a query service and Hyperledger Fabric networks. AWS will stop accepting new customers for it on Oct. 29, 2026 and ends support on Sept. 29, 2027. The second is AWS Blockchain Node Runners, an open-source set of templates for running nodes for Ethereum, Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Bitcoin on a customer's own AWS account. Several crypto exchanges and wallets have reported service disruptions during AWS regional outages, including on Oct. 20, 2025.
